Machine Processing Improvement

Our company has over a dozen CNC machines that Microvellum prepares files for and sends directly to the machine. Unfortunately this definitely has a significant performance hit on our the processing time. Would it be possible to leverage a separate process that would facilitate sending the machine code files to the machine at the end of Work Order processing?

Similar to how the Gannomatt processing station requires a special windows service that facilitates the creation of the .MDB files during Work Order processing, this service would dispatch the files to the machine without bogging down the entire process.

I also think the strategy of sending files could be optimized as there is significant overhead in moving individual files over a network connection. You would see performance improvements if the files were zipped into one package and sent over the network to be decompressed after transfer.

I'm curious to get others opinions on this.
