So, long story short, when we started using MV we settled on 2 different spec groups for the 2 different sides of our company however after using it for a while I realised this wasn't the way to go about it as a lot of things are shared over the 2 spec groups so there is no point in having 2 seperate ones as it was just making things more complicated that it needed to be.

What I really want is just the one spec group containing all the data. Is there a way to accomplish this without  re adding everything in manually one by one to a combined spec group? SQL or spreadsheet I would imagine would be the only way to do it but the unique identifiers are what get me...
