Microvellum Draftsman/ Engineer wanted Dallas/Fort Worth area
Woodhaus, Inc. is
seeking a Millwork Engineer/ Drafter. Candidate must have commercial
millwork experience interpreting architectural drawings and can use that
information to produce detailed shop drawings for submittal and cabinet
production. We are using AutoCAD 2021 with Microvellum V7. This is not a
remote position.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Able to read and interpret millwork from architectural blueprints and specifications.
Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings to company standards and customer specifications.
Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Production Staff to understand job requirements for cabinet production and shop submittal
Job Qualifications:
Familiar with typical millwork manufacturing process.
Proficient with AutoCAD
Microvellum V7
Basic computer skills
Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, some Excel
pdf reader: Acrobat Pro, or Bluebeam
Strong time-management skills and be comfortable with a deadline driven schedule.
Good communication skills, problem solving abilities, and strong attention to detail.
