Wood Matrix is a new cabinet manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art equipment. We are looking for someone with extensive Microvellum knowledge in library set-up, globals management, and product wizard management.

Role and Responsibilities

Performs all duties in a professional manner in accordance with Wood Matrix’s Mission and Values

The Engineer position will work with multiple departments within the company to gather required information needed to process jobs for production.  All job production will be completed electronically using Microvellum, Envision, and Cabinet Vision software.  Good visualization skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail will help applicant complete job requirements.

• Prepares a job to be processed by gathering proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Checks product information and data to ensure all items will be processed accurately.
• Will use spreadsheet software to modify and create custom products.
• Will need to create a Bill of Materials for a job for purchasing department.
• Maintains electronic filing systems for record-keeping of completed jobs.

Requirements

• Advanced level of drafting use of Microvellum / AutoCAD will be considered.
• Superior spreadsheet skills as well as creating and editing formulas is a must.
• Experience in cabinet assembly and manufacturing understanding.
• Good written and verbal skills using electronic communication tools.
