Job Summary

The programming engineer is a key position required to drive production in the modern manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and manipulating designs to meet the needs of the customer as well as our company. We are a custom manufacturer with strong ambitions and a broad range of products that fill many customer needs. Responsibilities and Duties

·         Communicate with Project Management and Production staff to implement designs

·         Customize products based on customer input and feedback

·         Finalize production drawings from submittals provided by draftsmen

·         Generate material estimates and offer suggestions for improving

·         Analyzing yield and reducing waste

·         Create products using a broad range of materials with unique properties

Required Qualifications and Skills (Intermediate Level)

·         Ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects simultaneously

·         Ability to work together with other people

·         Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications

·         Complete understanding of the PEMDAS order of operations

·         Novice understanding of AWI standards

·         Novice level AutoCAD proficiency

·         Intermediate level Microsoft Excel proficiency

·         Intermediate understanding of ADA standards

·         Intermediate level Microvellum proficiency

·         Advanced understanding of Casework and Countertop construction
