Innergy recently acquired Microvellum. I had a chance today to take a look on the internet and try to get my brain around what is Innergy and want to share a little and ask for more input from the community.
Innergy is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, couldn't find that acronym on the website, had to ask Gemini) that is specialized for the cabinetry/millwork industry.
This includes and as I understand it, is not limited to, manufacturing execution, site management, design (wait what?), sales, estimating, takeoff and project management.
That is quite a lot and it definitely interests me so I have to ask a couple of questions and I hope others may opine and other others or even the same others may find enlightenment.
1. If we already have Microvellum which we use for design, shop drawings, reports and sending data to the cnc (apparently according to the Innergy website they do that too), do we need both Microvellum and Innergy?
2. If you have used Innergy successfully could you share some of your experience? What do you use it for, how has it changed your business?
Thanks and hope all are having a wonderful Friday
