We are looking for a talented and experienced AutoCAD-Microvellum Drafter/Engineer/Specialist to join our team at GC Source, a branch of York Hospitality.

You will be in charge of using Microvellum and AutoCAD software to create accurate and thorough technical drawings. To convert conceptual designs into workable and feasible plans, you will work closely with our design team, project managers, and manufacturing personnel. Your proficiency with Microvellum and AutoCAD will help projects be executed successfully and satisfy both functional and aesthetic criteria.

Important Tasks and Accountabilities:

To produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings that adhere to project specifications and industry standards, use the AutoCAD and Microvellum tools.

Work together with the design team to translate creative designs into intricate shop drawings that can be produced quickly.

Create thorough documentation, such as sections, elevations, drawings, and details, to help the production process and convey the design concept.

Create the necessary schedules, cutting lists, and material lists needed to produce custom fixtures. To find and fix any mistakes or inconsistencies, carefully examine and inspect drawings.

Keep abreast on developments in the software market, industry trends, and best practices for Microvellum and AutoCAD drafting.

By offering input on software upgrades, workflow optimization, and design procedures, you may support efforts towards continual improvement.
