Our shop wants us to produce code for 3 different nesting CNC's so they can dynamically choose where to run individual jobs as deadlines change / cnc's go down etc.
I started out checking boxes for 1 cnc processing, unchecking that cnc, checking the next and processing a new batch
very time consuming...
If i check all three cnc's it will create code for all three at the same time in It still only creates one nest report though.
-- the question-- can i count on it always nesting all three same? so that the 1 nest report is accurate for all three? it appears to be doing so... i have the yield and optimization settings the same on all three. is there anything else that would cause it to ever be different on different machines?
thanks David
