I am currently making a parametric wall paneling system. It has a 3/4" backer panels and 3/4" face panels. I need to add cut outs in the backer panels to A: lighten the panels some and B: provide rooms where the installers can add shims behind the backer panels during install if needed. My issue is there are shelves that can get placed anywhere on the wall. Any ideas how i can add parametric cutouts to the backers and ensure they don't interfere with any of the shelf brackets? I can modify cut outs for every individual wall. But my boss is wanting me to make everything as parametric as possible to minimize custom modifications per job. But these cutouts are stumping me on how to avoid bracket locations (Which can be place anywhere on the wall) without modifying the wall every job. I attached two pics, one is the wall in conceptual view the other is wire frame view so you can see the brackets and the seams in the backer panels. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated!
