Nesting with Small Line Segments
We have a new Morbidelli CNC machine that will throw out "Path Cannot Be Followed" error when we have line segments that are smaller than the tool diameter. Our Optima will cut these just fine, but the Morbidelli has issues.
The tech told us to switch to "CAD Compensation" to resolve the error. This seems to be something that can only be controlled at the machine.
Does anyone else run in to this? Is there something we can do at engineering to prevent this?
For a little more context, when we have a diewall that has a radius outside corner the top and bottom plate step back at the transition between the flat face material and the benderboard, to account for the difference in thickness. This is just shy of 1/8".
