Microvellum Production Engineer
The Microvellum Production Engineer will provide accurate and detailed shop drawings, and production ready data utilizing Microvellum, in addition to providing support to the production team ensuring successful custom cabinet production.
Job Description
Review approved drawings and request any missing information needed to prepare shop drawings
Use Microvellum Toolbox to provide and maintain accurate custom shop drawings and submittals, to ensure timely production, per customer specifications
Take ownership of internal design-intent, confirming the functionality of products, and provide a solution to potential problems
Communicate with client to receive final approval of shop drawings
Create production packages for shop construction. Provide inline quality assurance, reviewing cut lists, final optimizations package, and overall project prior to releasing for production
Communicate with all relevant coworkers to make sure all related project materials are ordered. May be required to source special materials for unique custom cabinetry details
Use 2D drawings to communicate product details to improve fabrication and decrease field labor, assembly time, and complications.
Communicate with CNC machines and manufacturing personnel. Troubleshoot G-code and machine error codes as they relate to the CNC program
Provide production support and troubleshoot any issues on the production floor.
Update/Maintain MV libraries and standards to streamline workflow with the support of outside MV programmer.
Meet or exceed deadlines with limited supervision
Other duties or tasks as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years Microvellum Experience Preferred
Cabinet Building or Cabinet Drafting Preferred
Excel Fluency
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Detail Oriented
Wage: $20-$28
