We are a thriving business that has been operating since
1992, employing a growing team of 70 individuals and generating more than $15
million in annual revenue from our 30,000 sqft facility. As we continue to
expand, we are currently seeking a skilled AutoCAD draftsman to join our strong
engineering team. The ideal candidate must have experience in the millwork
industry, including familiarity with Microvellum and/or Cabinet Vision
software.
This is not an entry-level position and requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with AutoCAD and associated tools in the millwork industry. In addition, the candidate must have a thorough understanding of AWI Quality Standards and be capable of reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting shop drawings to the companies standards, updating the drawings as changes come in, and insuring all necessary information is included. Familiarity with woodworking machinery such as CNC, edge banding, doweling, and clamps is also preferred.
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with
experience and range from $50K or higher. We offer relocation assistance, as
well as a comprehensive benefits package, including group health insurance,
vision and dental coverage, life insurance, and a 401K plan. Our vacation
policy includes five (5) paid vacation days after twelve (12) months of
continuous employment, ten (10) paid vacation days after three (3) years of
continuous employment, and one (1) personal day after 90 days of continuous
employment, with an additional personal day every six (6) weeks. We also provide
three (3) paid holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) after 90 days
of employment.
At Phoenix, we value our employees and offer a supportive
work environment. We sponsor periodic company luncheons to celebrate holidays
and company milestones. We are committed to treating our employees well and
creating a family-like environment. In fact, many of our team members have been
with us for over a decade, and some retired employees still visit and attend
company events because they feel a strong connection to our community. As part of our commitment to our family, we
sponsor children of our employees to attend summer camp for one (1) week at
Sandy Creek Bible Camp (ages 8-18) every year.
If you are a motivated and experienced millwork professional,
we encourage you to apply for the position by submitting your resume and work
experience via email, along with your contact information and references.
