PLINE5 OFFSET PARAMETER

Hey all, is there a way to get a PLINE5 Machine token to offset using local variables for the product? When I plug in a variable as one of the coordinates in this format (or similar) it is not recognizing it. I want a pocket to move on my product based on the size of it.
