Removing Border Rout From Nest
I am trying to figure out the best way to remove the border route for parts going to the nested router. I just finished a project with 16 head-wall panels, all the same size but with each having about a dozen unique cutouts for electrical, med gas etc, no two panels were the same. Normally all our parts are nested at the router but because of the proximity of the cutouts to the panel edges I needed to cut the panels to size, edgeband, then machine the cutouts on the router. I accomplished this by creating a part called "Head-wall Blank" with a qty of 16 to give me the cutlist, edgebanding total & programs for the saw. For the unique programs I created each panel as a 3D solid and used SMA to generate the MV item which I named according to the room the panel goes in. I created a material, sized to the finished panel size with no trim and assigned these panels to be cutout to this material. Once I processed the job I removed the border routs of the panels then updated the G-code. I thought this worked fine until the shop realized that the labels got jumbled, it looks like removing the part border caused an issue with part labels. What would be the best way to accomplish outputting parts without a border route?
Thanks.
