Reported edge banding quantity on partially processed products is incorrect
In our manufacturing reports (Work Order Summary
& Edge Banding Report) the edge quantity always comes up as required
quantity for an entire cabinet, including cabinet box and doors/fronts.
This means in case we have to partially re-do a work order
(i.e. a pair of doors got damaged and needs to be replaced) the reports show
too much required edge tape for the re-do. Since we have started to import material usage per work order to Innergy (to
keep track of inventory there) this now messes up our system.
This somehow needs a fix in order to keep our data clean and inventory correct.
I think to calculate the required edge tape quantity per
processed parts instead of the complete cabinets/products would do it.
