Richelieu RCS Hinges Now Available for the Foundation Library


Microvellum is happy to announce the implementation of a new line of hardware into the Foundation Library catalog: the RCS series of hinges (and accompanying plates). With the most recent Foundation Library release, 66 new hinges and plates from Richelieu have been added into the library for clients to use in their projects.  

These hinges and plates will be included in version 23.0919 and onwards. They are accessible via the Microvellum Supplementary Downloads page, as well as present in the Foundation Library update.

The RCS series of hinges offers users a robust array of clip-on concealed hinges of various angles, which come with or without a soft-close mechanism and have the advantage of sharing the same mounting plate, and 6-way adjustment. They can be added into any cabinet with doors on it within the prompts or global variables.

The Richelieu RCS mounting plates come in numerous options for measurements, adjustment, and screw type. Within the Foundation Library, the RCS mounting plates come in multiple height options, ranging from 0 to 6mm, featuring standard and eccentric adjustment, along with screw-in and expand doweling, standard and Euro screws, and options specific to face frame cabinetry.  

Richelieu 103°

 
The Richelieu RCS 103° hinge is a full overlay cabinet hinge, complete with 2 options for fixing (dowel and screw-on), as well as 2 options for closing mechanisms (soft-close and spring-close). The Foundation Library carries the hinge with these options available for integration into products.  

Richelieu 105°

 
The Richelieu RCS 105° hinge is a hinge available for use in full overlay, half overlay, and inset cabinet doors. It is available with2 options for fixing (dowel and screw-on), as well as 2 options for closing mechanisms (soft-close and spring-close). The Foundation Library carries the hinge with all these options available for integration into client projects.

Richelieu 110°

 
The Richelieu RCS 110° hinge is a full overlay cabinet hinge specifically designed for integration with aluminum-framed doors, with screw-on fixing and a soft-close mechanism. The Foundation Library carries the 110° for use in aluminum-framed cabinets.  

Richelieu 165°

 
The Richelieu RCS 165° hinge is a full overlay cabinet hinge made to be used on standard doors, complete with 2 options for fixing (dowel and screw-on), as well as 3 options for closing mechanisms (soft-close, self-close, and spring-close). The Foundation Library carries the hinge with these options available for integration into products. 

Richelieu 30°

 
The Richelieu RCS 30° is a concealed hinge made for use on standard doors, featuring a soft-close mechanism and coming with 2 options for fixing (screw-on and dowel). The Foundation Library carries the hinge with both fixing options available. 

Richelieu RCS 45° Angled Hinge

 
The Richelieu RCS 45° is an angled hinge made for use on standard doors, featuring 2 options for closing mechanisms (soft-close and spring-close) and 2 options for fixing (screw-on and dowel). The Foundation Library carries the hinge with all these options available. 

Richelieu RCS 95°

 
The Richelieu RCS 95° is a hinge made for use on thickened doors and applications where non-standard drilling diameter is required. It features screw-on fixing, and 2 options for closing mechanisms (soft-close and spring-close).  

Richelieu RCS Mini 95°

 
The Richelieu RCS Mini 95° is a hinge available for use in full overlay, half overlay, and inset doors where non-standard drilling diameter is required, with screw-on fixing and a soft-close mechanism.
