Saved updated Sub-assembly to template.....How do I apply these changes to an existing project

I have been making updates to some of the sub-assemblies and products in our library.


For example:
  1. I added a 3rd drawer spacer to the "wood drawer box" sub-assembly.
  2. I saved this  sub-assembly change to the template

      When I create a new project all of my modifications are working correctly


However, on an existing project it is not.

  1. I have updated all spec group components (wizard, global, etc..) from the template.
  2. Issue: The sub-assembly updates are not there when i draw a new cabinet (in the existing project)

    Is there a best practice for updating those changes to an existing project?
