Scrap Management

So kind of a question, kind of an idea, kind of a discussion. Definitely a big problem.

So we have an older model Biesse in our shop. It's from 2010, but it's still going and we've just had a series of major works done on it. It's running. One of the quirks of our machine though is that we have been unable to find a way to make the "Destroy Offal" function work without causing intermittent issues where a part will get cut into depending on where MV has decided to draw the operation. This comes about because there is an option on our machine (that I can't and don't want to turn off) that adds a lead in automatically if one isn't present in the operation.

Why is it that Microvellum doesn't offer the same options for scrap management/destroy offal as it does for all other nesting operations? I can't fathom that nobody else has ever run into an issue with the limited capacity to tell MV what you want it to do with the leftovers.

Anyone got any interesting work arounds?

Oh! It'd also be good if there was a way to turn labels off for certain scrap sizes and filter scrap sizes to certain materials.
