Slide Gap

Hello Community! 

Does anyone here have the perfect slide gap for Accuride 38322 side mounted slides? On Microvellum it is 1/2" but we feel that's a little snug and go 1/2" plus 1/32". 

Should we stay with what the program and manufacturer have recommended?
