SMA does not generate parts correctly

Is it just me or you guys also have the problem with SMA not creating all the parts correctly? I opened I ticket but they blamed it on the path but could not explain why some parts are generated correctly while others are not...from the same path. 
If editing the part in 2d the correct machining is there, it just not generating the 3d part as it should. 
The workaround is to redraw the shape by tracing the machining created by the SMA....but then what is purpose of SMA.. 
As of now I only had this problem with curved die walls.
And as you see below is not really consistent, by staying on one side of the curve or not doing any of the curved parts. It just does some and not others.
What do you guys think?
