Solid Model Analyzer is a great tool, but It doesn't seem to handle curved parts very well. For now, I have just been dealing with it. Please see attached for an example. The part is a curved top plate of a die wall and I assigned it to be plywood. The plywood sheet is 4'x8'. As you can see, the panel that SMA put the part in cannot be cut from a 4'x8' sheet of plywood. This curved part can fit in a 4'x8' panel if it is rotated roughly 45º (in this case). If I don't rotate the part, it will not be nested properly. I hope Microvellum can fix this.
