We're trying to test out solid modeling tools/extruded product tool for the first time, but I'm running into a major issue while doing so. For some reason, the insert joint and move joint tools aren't doing anything in the solid modeling editor.

They bring up the commands and help text, and they ask me to select the extruded entities, but after selecting the points for the joint, nothing happens. The joints remain in the same place. 

I'm also having the same problem for the move vertical entities along the polyline tools. Though moving them in 3D space tools still work. Everything else seems like it still works - I can remove joints, stretch extruded entities, modify smart layers to change the corner negotiations and max part sizes, ect.

It also seems that in a fresh room these tools work fine for a short time before they stop working. I've created a fresh room, copied the same section with the same smart layers I was using in the room where these tools didn't work, and created an identical polyline. It then lets me use these tools with no issues - until they eventually stop working.

None of the extruded entities are locked. 

I've tried deleting and re-creating the extruded product.

I've tried deleting and purging the smart layers, then recreating them.

I've tried purging all other groups and blocks from the room.

I've run audits on the dwg file to try and fix issues.

None of these things seem to work. Has anyone had this issue and been able to identify what's causing it or found a workaround?
