Staying Productive in a Changing Business Climate

Microvellum has been closely monitoring the rapidly increasing domestic and worldwide developments related to COVID-19 (coronavirus) during the last several weeks. For now, the business climate is changing and having an impact business-as-usual for many. During this time, we are determined to help our staff, customers, and business partners around the world stay healthy, safe and productive.

Here are some of the precautionary actions we’ve taken in response to the current world events:

Are You Working From Home?

In this business climate, we recognize that it may be necessary for some on your team to work remotely. We want to do our part to help our clients stay productive, whether they are working at the office or home. If you’ve implemented a social distancing measures at your business, we can help your team make the transition by providing temporary access to your Microvellum Software at home. If you would like to get set up with an all-access, 60-day disaster relief software license, please contact your Account Manager to get started.

Support

We are doing our part to minimize the spread of the virus and have implemented new social distancing practices within our offices. While our entire support team has remained at the office, individuals from other departments have relocated to their home offices. Despite this shift in work environments, we are working to provide our clients with the same level of customer service and timely responses to support requests.

Services

We are also working to deliver the same quality service that you’ve come to expect from our team, but recognize that continuing business-as-usual when it comes to certain services and or travel may be difficult. In that regard, we’ve instructed our service team to continue with any previously scheduled service. However, in the event, you (our clients) or our service provider prefer to reschedule or restructure your onsite service work, we are prepared to help make the needed adjustments to your service plan. Keep in mind, remote (web-based) services may be a suitable substitute for your onsite service. If you would like to restructure or postpone your previously scheduled service, please contact your Service Provider, Project Manager or Account Manager as soon as possible.

User Group Conference – TechCon 2020

After assessing the rapid acceleration in the spread of COVID-19, and based on new mandates for large social gatherings, the in-person TechCon 2020 events, previously scheduled in Jacksonville, Oregon USA, and Sydney, NSW Australia have been canceled. However, we are actively planning for a web-based version of the event, a virtual conference and training experience for clients worldwide. This virtual format will provide an opportunity for the Microvellum community to come together to influence, learn, and collaborate with their peers from across the world in a live environment. We expect to release our updated plan and schedule for this event next week. (Week of March 23rd)

If you have already paid for your registration(s) to an in-person TechCon 2020 event, you will be contacted regarding your full refund. If you have questions, please contact our marketing team by emailing [email protected].

…………...............

While world events are unfolding quickly, please remember that fear is a contagious emotion. We encourage each of you to stay calm and be prepared, but not be anxious. We will get through this together and we’ll be stronger on the other side…
