Suggestion - Edit Product List Item Number for Multiple Products

When we create an exam room multiple times, such as a quantity of 20, we create 20 empty product lines within a "shipping" phase within the spreadsheet for each product within that room (20 base cabinets, 20 upper cabinets, etc).  Each line is assigned a unique room number in the comment line for creating product labels within our shop.  Currently we have to manually assign the same item number to all of the 20 products one at a time vs being able to select all 20 products at once and assign the same item number.  Is this something that can be changed in the software to allow assigning the same item number to multiple products at once?
