Unified Work Order Processing Speed

I am currently setting up a new server with SQL 2019 and decided to try out the Unified Work Order rather than the old SQLCE method to see if it will perform better for us. 

In short it seems to be a LOT slower when processing a job for the CNC's. Has this been anyone else's experience or did I mess something up?
