Updating Material Workbook(s) takes ages...

Does anyone else have an issue with the "Updating Material Workbook(s)" notification taking ages to go away when opening a job? We never had an issue before, maybe it has something to do with a new update or maybe my material db is funky? 

It will go on like this for around 5 to 10 minutes on some jobs...
