Wall panels - how do you do it?

I am going to be doing my first wall panel project in Microvellum shortly.  Before I get too deep into into the project, I am wondering how others have set thier libraries up to handle this.  The project consists of wall panels, soffits and colums.  Non sequenced, Fry Reglet Joints.

I can create the Fry Reglet hardware with no problem.  I was thinking the panels can be created using a starter panel.  Is there an easier way?

How are you handling z-clips.  I was thinking a formula for qty based on height and width of the panel?

My plan is simply to draw the walls and place the panels on the wall, size accordingly, Add the trim (might take some manual placement) and repeat as needed.

For those that have gone through this, is my thought process correct or is there a better way?
