Introducing Toolbox BSB, Built on BricsCAD

We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of Toolbox BSB — a bundled installation of our Toolbox platform, now integrated with BricsCAD Pro.

Toolbox BSB delivers the trusted Microvellum design-to-manufacturing experience within the BricsCAD environment—uniting intelligent engineering tools with a professional-grade CAD foundation.

Why BricsCAD?

BricsCAD is a professional CAD platform that supports both 2D drafting and 3D modeling using the industry-standard DWG file format. It offers a familiar command structure, a customizable interface, and a wide range of tools to support efficient, detail-oriented design, drafting, modeling, and engineering work.

With support for LISP routines, Express Tools, and a highly configurable workspace, BricsCAD allows users to adapt their interface and workflows to suit their needs. Its performance is optimized for large, complex drawings, helping teams maintain productivity in demanding project environments.

BricsCAD also includes intelligent, AI-assisted drafting tools that streamline repetitive tasks and enhance drawing accuracy, bringing added efficiency to everyday work.

This new integration brings Microvellum’s design and engineering tools to the BricsCAD platform, supporting a cohesive and familiar CAD experience.

Toolbox BSB Availability

Toolbox BSB will be delivered as a single, all-in-one installation that includes:

A licensed version of BricsCAD Pro, bundled under the Toolbox BSB label
The same Toolbox experience available within other supported CAD platforms
Compatible with all existing Microvellum project data, libraries, and configurations—no database migration required. Just install, select your configuration, and pick up where you left off.

To support onboarding, Microvellum will also provide:

An automated, zero-cost conversion process for users transitioning from Toolbox OEM to Toolbox BSB
A self-service 45-day trial available through the Microvellum Portal
Access to a curated library of 100+ BricsCAD tutorials covering core BricsCAD tools and workflows
