My I would like to see Microvellum add this list:

First on my list is optimization,l MV does a pretty good job, especially with square or rectangular parts, but when you start to get odd shaped parts things can go wonky. What really exasperates me is the inability to nest parts within parts, an example is where we have a large part that has say a 24 x 30 cutout and MV will not nest the smaller parts in that window.  Yes we can and have manually transferred parts from another sheet into those areas which creates another area that needs parts and you start going down a path of diminishing returns labor wise.  I know for a fact that nesting parts within parts can be done because I have used applications that did that, saves time and material.

Second on my list would be to have the ability to easily set the border rout tool and have the parts space accordingly.  I vision a check box to turn on the option then select the tool and then add how much additional space you desire for ramp clearance. 

Third on my list is the ability to select a tool for cutting small parts when using a double pass.  I like to use a 900 tool that makes the first pass and leaves .050 then changes tools for the second.  Yes I can manually change this in the nest and I have many many times but why can this not be added?

Do not get me wrong Microvellum is a fantastic program.
