An Introduction to the Rich Text Editor in Report Designer

The articles in this section of the Knowledge Base involve working with Rich Text for display in your reports. To access the Report Designer, select Toolbox Setup > Design Reports > Design (Report Type) Report. Select New Report to design a report from scratch or New Report from Existing. Select Designer to open Report Designer.

From this screen, add a Rich Text component to your report, or edit an existing rich text component.

The RichText component can automatically change its size depending on the size of the RTF text within it. It can process expressions and supports a wide variety of styles, processing at the end of report rendering, etc..
