How to Download a Software Build Update
Software maintenance updates offer valuable improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and new features that enhance functionality and user experience. Not to be confused with “upgrades”, updates include incremental changes to your existing software and do not require the installation of new software as upgrades do. Note that your library data will not be affected by installing an update.
The following steps will guide you through the process of requesting a software build update:
- Open the Microvellum Client Portal at http://portal.microvellum.com and navigate to the "Software Management" section. Here, you will see 2 columns under the "Licenses" heading: Latest Update and Latest Full Install.
- If you wish to update your existing software, download the appropriate software update from the Latest Update drop-down menu.
- If you wish to instead download an entirely new and fresh installation of the latest Toolbox software build, download from the Latest Full Install drop-down menu, selecting the build of your supported software.

In order to access Software Management, you must be logged into your Microvellum Portal account and have permissions to Download from your account's administrator. See this article for further information on this permission.
