Microvellum Foundation Library Release Notes | Build 26.0630

Microvellum Foundation Library Release Notes | Build 26.0630

Additions:

  • Added new Fixture product Die Wall Advanced. This product takes the legacy Die Wall products to a new level. More features and advanced parametric abilities:

    • Up to five individual unique subassembly segments, widths controlled via calculator.

    • Initial segment options include "Straight", "Bowed Front", & "Curved". Users can develop additional custom segments by developing additional subassemblies and updating the combo box list, allowing for endless customization options.

    • Left/Right Return options include None, Straight Segment, & Radius Segment. More can be developed and added by developing additional subassemblies and updating the combo box list.

    • Taper Options by Angle or Amount.

    • Removable inside panel option.

    • Countertop Recess options including notched studs.

    • Various cleating & plate options.

    • Wire chase holes, cutouts, & full center cutout.

    • Standard Foundation Library construction methods supported.

    • Drill or route relief options for the stud notches.

    • End Condition options for each segment (None, Finished, Applied, End Cap).

  • Added close to 200 new global variable help images. Reviewed many of the global variables that were missing help images and rendered new ones to help clarify what each variable is for.

Notes
Currently at this time the Library Update Utility cannot append the name of the new JPG file to your existing global variables. Because of this, the images will not appear in the Global UI until you enter the name of the JPG help image. Current work-a-round for this is to install the full library and copy/paste column “U” in the global workbook into your working library.

  • Added Halliday Fusion Drawer System.

  • Added Material Sheet quantity to Formula Driven Materials. This includes 4 new Wizard prompts:

    • "Material 1 Sheet Qty 1".

    • "Material 1 Sheet Qty 2".

    • "Material 2 Sheet Qty 1".

    • "Material 2 Sheet Qty 2".

  • Added 2 new columns to the LookUpTableFDM:

    • Sheet 1 Qty [Col 26].

    • Sheet 2 Qty [Col 27].

    • Both new columns are populated with a default of 2000. Adjusted the formula in the 4-default sheet qty fields in Material file. This was only applied to the existing Material 1 and 2. Users can now set the appropriate sheet qty per sheet size in the wizard for Materials 1 & 2. This gives the user an example path if they choose to add the option to other materials.

  • Resolved an inconsistency issue with global variable Default Top Drawer Front Height. Users can now apply "G!Default Top Drawer Front Height" to Drawer Bank products, not just Door/Drawer products.

    • Added new variable, Default Top Drawer Front Height Drawer Bank, to project wizard and global variables.

    • Updated all Drawer Bank products with the exception of 1 Drawer, FF and Frameless, and Waste Bin drawer products.

    • Updated the Component Drawers and Component Drawers FF subassemblies.

Modifications/Resolutions General:

  • Renamed several library products in the Fixture Components category.

Notes
If you are updating your library with the Library Update utility, the old products will not be deleted, moved, or renamed. You will need to manually do this, otherwise you will have two of the same products with different names.
  • Resolved drilling issue with the Kessebohmer LeMans II. M Profile (Side mounted bracket) was drawn at 600mm but had machining matching the 500mm. Users can now use the 600mm bracket with none of the machining aligned.

Added a toggle for the M Profile selection, 500mm or 600mm in the Le Mans II subassembly. Separated the M Profile from the blocks of all graphics except the High board. Added 4 new Cut Parts and graphic files, M Profile 500mm Left and Right, M Profile 600mm Left and Right. Updated machining to reference M Profile selection (columns 22 & 27, rows 6-9 in Lookuptable). Updated the high board graphics and machining to correctly match the specs (columns 22 & 27, rows 10-13 in Lookuptable).

  • Resolved issue with Tall Split Corner Pantry cabinet when "Thick Back" is selected and the "Cabinet Split Qty" is set to 2. The Middle back now changes to qty 0 so there are not unneeded parts cut.

  • Resolved issue with Wood Drawer Box right back when "Rear Cutout" was selected. The "Right Drawer Back" now machines and reacts the same as the "Left Drawer Back".

  • ADA Sink Angled Frame: Added "ElvNoDim" and "ElvNoOutline" hidden prompts to supress the 2D elev dimension and product outline.

  • Resolved issue in Horizontal Opening Splitter FF subassembly that inadvertently added perfect grain data, which caused issues in the nesting of parts.

  • Resolved inconsistent Notched "Toe Kick Height" in Face Frame products. All Face Frame products now consistently reference the "G!Face Frame Toe Kick Difference Extended" variable. Toe Kick parts for FF products will now be consistent sizes.

  • Resolved issue with Division with Adjustable Shelves and Division with Fixed Shelves subassemblies where the Division text in Uppers was being placed above the product. Changed parameter 2 of the DRAWTEXT to be consistent with the Divisions subassembly at UCN(2.5, 75).

  • Resolved issue with the Drawer Bottom machining for the Blum METABOX drawer system

  • Resolved issue with Blum MERIVOBOX. Changing material thicknesses were causing incorrect bottom part cut sizes.

  • Resolved issues with incorrect lock locations when used with Upper Cabinet Valance and Lock to Bottom options.

  • Resolved 2D elevation issue when using scribe fillers and "Filler to Floor" option.

  • Resolved an issue with routing hinge cup holes on 3 Door Products. The Router hinge cup machining was being applied to the Division instead of the door. Divsion Part Names have now been added to the "G!Name Filter Hinges".

  • Resolved an issue with "Secondary Locks" when using a Center Fixed Shelf. When using a lock on a double door product with shelf below (like a tall 2 double door), the Z origin of the catch wasn't accounting for a shelf instead of a bottom. The Z origin now references "Door Bottom Edge to Bottom Panel" instead of from "Thickness Bottom - Bottom Reveal"
