Project Workbook Permissions Fix

1. An issue was reported and resolved regarding the permissions of employee access to project factory workbooks. Users who do not have authorization to access the project factory workbook are intended to be denied access when attempting to interact with the button within Project Properties. However, users who lacked access to project factory workbooks would sometimes find themselves unable to open the Project Properties interface at all, being locked out even if they had not attempted to interact with the project factory workbook at all. 
2. This issue has been resolved- a change in form code has been applied to the interface to ensure that users will only be faced with a security check when specifically attempting to access the project factory workbook. 

Product Prompts Fix

1. When opening the prompts of products in the software, it is intended that the interface will, by default, select the product width prompt first, as this is the first and uppermost prompt value in the interface. However, some users found that the prompts would instead select the item number of the product, rather than the product width. 
   
2. This issue has been resolved- when the prompt interface has been opened, the first selectable prompt field should now be selected by default. 
   

Beta Optimizer Fixes

 

1. There was an issue experienced by some users when attempting to process work orders using the beta optimizer. When a work order was created and set to process, the order would not be able to progress to completion. The Optimizer Progress UI would display the “Awaiting Start” status for an indeterminate amount of time, and the order thus be unable to produce any results.  

 

1. Some users found an issue with the label processing of the beta optimizer. When labels were set to process with a work order, they would sometimes be generated and appear in previews with entirely randomized code, rather than the appropriate Link ID coding. 

 

1. An issue was reported regarding the placement of sheets within nesting operations. It was sometimes the case that materials would not be placed correctly in accordance with their optimization priority in the nest. 
   
2. All 3 of these issues have been resolved- the beta optimizer should no longer fail to progress during processing, labels should now display the correct corresponding code when generated, and parts with optimization priority and optimization weighted selection numbers assigned should be placed in the preferred order in nesting operations. 
   

Beta Optimizer Perfect Graining Fixes

1. An issue was found with part placement when utilizing the beta optimizer with perfect graining enabled. In operations with multiple parts, rather than being placed in the correct spaces, some parts would instead erroneously stack on top of one another. 
   

1. Another issue was reported when processing nesting operations with perfect graining enabled. Some users found that their parts would be placed incorrectly, such as parts being placed outside of the grain container during processing. 
   
2. Both issues have been resolved- coding changes have been applied to ensure that parts are placed properly when utilizing perfect graining with the beta optimizer. There should no longer be an issue with parts being unintentionally stacked or placed outside of the product grain container.
