Toolbox Release Notes | Build 25.1.0519.641
The following release notes apply to Toolbox build 25.1.0519.641
Work Order Defaults Fix
- There was an issue reported with setting defaults on work orders. When one processes a work order, then modifies it afterward using the Modify Work Order feature, it is expected that changing aspects of this work order will only affect the specific work order being modified, not having any effect on new work orders created afterward. However, it was sometimes found to be the case that modifying the Default Status of processed work orders would change the Default Status of all new work orders created after. This issue has been resolved. A coding change has been applied to ensure that the default status of modified work orders does not affect the status of all work orders.
2D Plan Tokens Fix
Fig. 1: The two checkboxes for adding 2D plan tokens (right), erroneous tokens in a new drawing (left).- There was an issue discovered with the Drawing Preferences in the AutoCAD settings of Toolbox. When selecting whether to add 2D Plan Tokens to product drawings, different settings are available based on whether the product is in an existing or new drawing. Leaving the option to add 2D Plan Tokens to 3D in new drawings unchecked should thus result in products in new drawings not generating 2D Plan Tokens. However, it was reported that when these products were redrawn, they would erroneously generate 2D Plan Tokens regardless. This issue has been resolved- the separate "Add 2D Plan Token" checkboxes should no longer affect one another, and products in new drawings with 2D Plan Tokens disabled should no longer draw them.
DWF from Drawing Update
Fig. 2: The "Create a DWF file from drawing" option.- An update has been applied to the option to create DWF files from drawings. When enabling this option from the “Drawing Preferences” section of the Toolbox Setup AutoCAD tab, it has been the case that the .DWF generated from the drawing was a 2D file. This has changed, with the option now resulting in the creation of a 3DWFX file, in accordance with later versions of AutoCAD.
Paperless Shop Floors Template Fix
- An issue has been reported with the templates found in the Paperless Shop Floors downloadable package. It was sometimes the case that when selecting multiple products to create new drawings for use as images in the catalog using the metric template, only a new drawing of the first product selected would be drawn. All products after the first would fail to produce new drawings. This would usually only occur when model space was set to specific visual styles. This issue has been resolved. The metric drawing template of the package should now draw all selected products without issue.
Software Startup Fix
- A long-standing issue encountered by some users with the startup of the software has been resolved. It was reported that some users, when attempting to start up the software, would receive an error message claiming that the root of their data was missing, resulting in the software not being able to open properly. While the issue has been resolved individually previously, a large-scale fix has been applied, which should result in this error no longer occurring.
