Toolbox Release Notes | Build 25.1.0616.641
The following release notes apply to Toolbox build 25.1.0616.641
Rounding Fixes
- Users reported issues with the accuracy of rounded values during the generation of G-code. When generating G-code and setting a post-processor to round to a number of decimals of 3 or higher, the end value would sometimes come out incorrectly.
- It was determined that this issue was caused by a problem calculating precise values when rounding doubles. To remedy it, a coding change has been applied to post-processors, which narrows the threshold of values prior to G-code generation. With this change, resultant values should be more precise and generate correctly, and the issue has been resolved.
Fig. 1: The new offset routing error pop-up alert.- It has been noted that there was sometimes an issue wherein offset routes would not be capable of being applied, or would be applied, but intersect with themselves, with no indication of the error or why it may occur. While the issue of the routes failing to apply is intended to be addressed in a future update, to remedy the lack of notice, a warning message has been added to the software to alert users when tools are incapable of calculating offset routes.
