Toolbox Release Notes | Build 25.1.1204.641
The following release notes apply to Toolbox build 25.1.1204.641
Fig. 1: The updated Toolbox Login interface. - The Toolbox Login interface has had several changes applied to it to enhance its usability and allow for greater convenience when working within any Microvellum Toolbox product. All of these features are also present on the "About Microvellum" interface from the Toolbox Setup tab. These changes will apply to the UI of all Toolbox products from this software build and onward.
Update Available
Fig. 2: The Update Available link.- Users whose software is detected to be older than the most recent or current version of Toolbox will see a new interactive link near the bottom of the interface, alerting them that a newer Toolbox build is available. Clicking on this link will open the Software Management page of the Microvellum Portal on your default web browser, allowing you to immediately download the latest update. This message is configured to not appear when users are detected to be using the current version of Toolbox. The current build number of your software is now visible on the lower portion of the interface.
Fig. 3: The new Product Name title.- The name of the specific Toolbox product currently open (such as Production, OEM, BSB, AC, or Server) has been added to the very top of the interface. This will allow users to easily identify which product they are utilizing.
Integrated Web Panel
Fig. 4: The Integrated Web Panel with helpful links and Microvellum's event calendar.- A web panel has been integrated into the right side of the Login interface, automatically set to load Microvellum’s website, allowing users to access the Knowledge Network, the Community forums, and Microvellum event calendar with ease. Clicking on a link within the web panel will open the corresponding page in your default web browser, allowing you to access helpful information without needing to manually navigate to any of it.
Part Rotation Improvement
Fig. 5: A composite with a part rotated 180° twice, exceeding the previous rotation limit.- When rotating a part on a nested sheet using nesting tools, users were previously restricted to rotating parts at angles of 90° or less (the two standard options were 45° or 90°). This feature has been improved, allowing users to input a specific angle that can exceed 90°, to better position parts according to your specific needs in terms of part optimization.
- When using the “Rotate Parts in Nest” option within the nesting tools, users will now be prompted to set a specific angle for the part to rotate by. If the rotation exceeds the edges of the border, a pop-up message warning that there is no valid border in that area will appear.
AutoCAD 2026
- Toolbox AC has been updated to function with AutoCAD 2026. For information on the full list of changes in AutoCAD 2026, visit Autodesk's official website.
