As of build 15.6.1806, the Microvellum Apply Material screen contains a column for the AutoCAD Layer Name. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the Apply Materials screen.
This new column makes it possible to set up rendering colors without opening the database and making modifications there. You now use the Apply Materials screen accessed by clicking the Change Material button from the Camera command group.
The Microvellum drawing templates contain layers that are set up with a rendering material.

This opens the Apply Materials screen containing the Microvellum and non-Microvellum materials.
The figures below demonstrate the difference between the Apply Material screen with a non-Microvellum drawing template open and the same screen with a Microvellum drawing template open.
To save time, be sure to open a Microvellum drawing template containing the rendering material assignments. Otherwise, you will need to assign a material to each layer.
