Sort the collumn in the window additional prompts
Hi, I can't have my collumn right swing and left swing side by side. See the pictuce. Can we have this in a update please?
Good-one-side designation
We regularly have Good one side board that is required for doors and drawer fronts (with holes needed in the degraded side) and for other panels with holes or rebates needed in the good side, as well as panels with no holes. Rather than having to setup
autolabeling reprint
Hi; to remake parts outside of Microvellum, Just scan the barcode of face 5 for the unit program and remake the part, its work perfectly! but I find it difficult to reprint the label, because the name of the label is not saved on the DB. Can you add

Copy room from one project to another
It would be great to be able to copy a single room from one project and place it in another project. This would be helpful when doing our builder work that mix and match from previous projects.
How to delete a Batch within a Work Order
Is there a way to delete a Batch within a Work Order once it is created? We do write on top of existing Batches if they are incorrect, but sometimes it would be beneficial to be able to delete the batch.
Tool File - Field Offsets
Does anyone use the field offsets in their tool files? We run a decent volume of parts on our matrix table and offset certain parts 10" in X and Y to prevent part movement. Our operators typically make these changes on the fly at the router CPU but very
Sort Nest By Material Name
When nested based processing, does anybody know of a way to force the sheets to be placed in a particular order? Example: I'm nesting 50 sequence & end-matched custom-layup panels. The individual panel definition is at the end of the material name (e.g.
Exporting CSV from from a report
Does anyone have any experience exporting CSV files from their reports? I seem to be having mixed results. I was able to export a spreadsheet with all of the part data I needed. Now I'm trying to create a report that will export all the hardware within
adding routes to nest
is there a way to add a route in a nest and have it run after the border route. we use an 1/8" bit to go back and clean out inside corners but it needs to be done after the part border is already cut. we created a 2 pass bit to do this because the smaller
PO Numbers
It would be great if Microvellum let us add a PO Number to the job we are working on in the Project Properties. That way we could pull in that data and print it out on our labels and put it on all of our products for easy tracking. Is this a feature we
best way to do small parts in nesting?
Hi, Just want to discuss this again. Most of time, for small parts we put it in center or do onion skin to avoid the part move when it is in nesting. Now we want to try out reduce speed in order to prevent the small parts move. Is it good way? So for
Drilling In Multiple Steps.
Is it possible for MV to output the code to drill a hole in multiple steps? I just finished a project where there were multiple 1" deep Ø5/64" holes. Since drilling in one pass would likely break the bit the CNC operator had to go through the time consuming
Face 6 first - reversed for shaker doors
We have a job coming up with shaker doors similar to the attached. We are set up to do face 6 first machining and I'd like to do as much as possible on the cnc. Is it possible to do face 5 first, then flip? I think the sheet will lose too much suction
Feature Request: Show Work Order number from within the Processing Center interface
We use "Products.WorkOrder.WorkOrderNumber" as an identifier on our reports. This gives us a unique, MV generated ID Number for each work order (work order name is often duplicated and easy to mistake one for another). We would like to be able to see
Rotate Nested Parts
Recently our CNC operator point of that it would be nice if the the parts in the nest were rotated 180 deg so the backs of the cabinet where against our fence instead of the face of the cabinet. See image below for example. Is there away to tell microvellum
Give choice to change the part quantity in processing station
I would like MV have a choice for cnc programmer to change part quantity in processing station. For batch job or for replacement part. I don't want to process all the quantity, i only want to do 1 or 2 or 3... see below image for change quantity.

Hello Everyone, I am having a problem with my line bore holes, They aren't there. The last project I just did worked fine, Started a new project, same spec group, same everything and no shelf pin holes. I have copied the spec group from the last job with
Product List/Overdrive Pro
Why does the Product List/Overdrive Pro window close every time I redraw a product? It would be very helpful if it would stay open until I manually close it, or until something significant happens like changing projects. Anyone else agree?
Sending jobs to multiple CNC
Hi All Looking at a job that would evolve sending finished jobs to multiple different companies for CNC cutting. eg. One project is drawn and detailed in MV, processed then the cut files and sent to company A for cutting and assembly etc. Then project

Hello All, I just processed a job through the Nesting Process Station and found that a single cabinet has the door swing (hinges) on the wrong side. Is there a way to manually add and delete hinge holes to the cabinet's sides without re-processing the
FEATURE REQUEST-2D DRAWING
how hard would it be to number the rows in the parts list when working in 2d drawing? currently if a part is on row 73(example) you have to count down the rows to update the part. very time consuming and inefficient.
true shape nesting
i'm curious as to how many here use true shape nesting and is it worth the cost. we do a lot of odd custom designs ans use SMA quite a bit, will true shape nest save me time?
Map Material to Processing Station
Has anyone ever seen the benefit of 'mapping' materials to a specific CNC machine? That would let you set up each material so that each part would be populated to the processing center with a combination of stations already assigned. Instead of a manual
True Shape Nesting
I have noticed that all Toolbox Release after #21.1.0420.641, True Shape Nesting will put a border around most non-rectangular parts like it is not doing True Shape Nesting. I have tried moving the True Shape Control Slider to max, but it still puts a
Sheet order in nesting report
I'm running into an issue with my nesting report from a work order this morning. I have two different materials and two different processing stations, one material on each. So if Material 1- Station 1 = M1S1 and Material 2 - Station 2 = M2S2, the report
Feature Request- Interface for Shop to process remakes in MV ERP
Imagine this...Let's say you run a work order on the floor, and there are 4, 6, or a dozen damaged parts....they slide on the router, or got dropped, etc. What if the operator could scan the filename on the part labels, and it would automatically create
Bringing parts from other Workorders to be cut with Other Workorder
Some parts moved while cutting and need to be re-cut. I have the space on another Workorder nest which was not been cut yet in the shop. Is there a way to bring in just the part that moved (or whole product) other than AutoCad copy and paste? With Autocad
Parts Excluded from Optimization
Using multiple sheet sizes of a certain material we sometimes get an error 'there is not enough material' for a given material when processing. We can usually resolve the error by adjusting sheet quantities and optimization priorities using the Modify
3D Polyline Path for Routing
Hello! I am looking to figure out how to make a 3D polyline path that would be able to make profile edges on tops or other parts. It appears that this would be possible to do with some combination of multiple polyline route tokens, but is there a way
AB Material Upside Designation for CNC Operator

Combining face 6 with face 5
We have two librarys the same build in one library we can combine face 6 & face 5 the other wont.
Anyone use Lamello Cabineo connectors? Machining issue drilling vs. routing
I figured out how to use the Cabineos and successfully have the edgearray machine token and all that. But when it goes to machine these, it is picking up our 5mm and trying to bore the 15mm hole with that bit. I cannot seem to find a place to change it to rout and setting a different bit like our 1/4" or 3/8" compression. We do not have a 15mm drill bit but can get one. But where would I even set that tool number? As you can see, it is using the 3/8" bit for the pline which is for the Cabineo cap
Changing Product Numbers in Product List
I have a project with approximately 45 rooms. I am processing the rooms to get material quantities and I have 2 different Specification Groups. When I change the spec groups, quantities and product numbers to process, I get an error message when I change

Higher true shape slider results in duplicate identical nests
I have discovered that increasing the true shape slider to the middle (or higher) results in nests with a quantity of one. This is quite wasteful when there are identical nests. For instance, a recent project only had one nest to be run twelve times
Selective Machining with the Part Name Filter Question
I am working on setting up a doweled drawer box and have a question regarding the machining for locks. With our existing drawer sub-assemblies we cut a 3 sided notch all the way through the sub-front of the drawer for the lock body, this cutout was driven
