Hello, we're doing some workstation swap-arounds in my office.  I'm not really familiar with how MV licenses used to operate.  It sounds like with the new authentication workflow, I can install the app on a couple new workstations for folks to use while I tear refurbish their old machines without any violations. 

My understanding is, if we have 3 seats paid for, and Workstaions #1, 2, and 3 are running MV, then stations #4 and 5 wouldn't be able to start the app.  There is no consequence in booting it up, aside from discovering all the seats are full.  If station #2 logs off, then #4 could immediately bootup and run MV, if it wanted to.

I appreciate advice... this is where being the IT guy turns solving a slide puzzle!
