2D Hardware Interface - Use Hardware Categories instead of 2D Drawing

With all the 2D Hardware drawings available in MV, it's hard to find a specific hardware item when you want to add it through the 2D Part Editor.
Can we update this interface to use the hardware selection box with it's organization and categories instead of trying to find an item from the alphabetical list of 2D hardware drawings?
