Annotative Text Misalignment

We use two different scales with our drawings. Plan and elevations are in 1/2" and sections are in 1".

Currently our text is using the "Annotative" style. This looks fine initially but whenever the scale is changed, the "Justify" property of the text changes from right to left, or vice versa.

If we change the scale prior to generating the elevation or section views, whatever was generated initially will be misaligned.
Even if we keep the model space in a single scale for the entire project, when either the sections or elevations are added to the layout with a view pre-set at the correct scale, text appears misaligned.
It can be fixed by selecting the text and manually changing the justify property, but it's time consuming and easy to accidently miss.

I've thought about using a non-annotative text style, but for some reason Microvellum is still setting it as annotative even when the style isn't. I see settings for using Annotative text in options, but there's no documentation I can find about it.

Has anyone dealt with this or have any tips to fix it?

Thanks!
