Is it possible to add associative operations to parts with non-rectangular shapes, i.e. more than 4 edges?

This just a glass rack for the shop, but I have a good bit of bench seating coming up that this will become important on.

What I would like to do is have associative dadoes, and line bores for pilot holes, on the 6 outer facing edges of the vertical ribs. In Part Properties, the part is a square and still only shows 4 edges, so I don't know how I could target these edges with machine tokens, even in the workbooks.

In other software I've used I had constraints where, for the three stretchers on the upper part of the A-frame, the machining would only fire into 1 part. So, I would have to put three separate dadoes on that edge.
