I was wondering if there was a method I am not aware of that I could find if an object or anything in the current room is drawn on a particular layer and use that to set a variable to say a different thing. 

I am setting up an automated materials page and would like to turn off the regularly used variables if they are not in the current drawing ie. 3D_TallShelf
