I am working on modifying the stock extruded die wall to make it a bit more usable for our environment.  The question I have is regarding stud placement.

Currently the system determines the number of studs and placement based on wall length, assuming I want the die wall studs equally spaced.  Very seldom is that the case for us.  You can see below, the qty 5 studs' and the EQV formula for placement.   

So, my question is how do others address this?  Is there a better way than to just blow this away and add my own studs?  I can then add a prompt for stud qty and placement.  Before I get started, I wanted to ask the guru's here.
