We currently have scrap management turned on to square off the waste, leaving it up to the CNC operator to decide whether to keep it or not.

We would like to see scrap not included into the yield calculations.

After doing some digging, Microvellum calculates the nested sheet yield based on the formula: Yield = Part Area Sum / Sheet Useable Area (not including any trim cuts).

This could be changed to Yield = Part Area Sum-Scrap Area Sum / Sheet Useable Area (not including any trim cuts)

Or Part Area Sum to be filtered not to include parts named “scrap”

"Currently, we do not have a feature to exclude scrap from yield calculation, but I do understand why you'd make the request if you are using Scrap Management.  The way I see it, a setting could be added within the Scrap Management settings in the Options UI. "Exclude Scrap from Yield Calculation".  Wonder how many votes this would get?"
