Feature Request - Attachment Left Side

Request to Add Cabinet-to-Cabinet Machining Feature

Overview

  • Request to add a new feature for cabinet-to-cabinet machining to the library.

  • Feature includes countersunk screw holes for easy attachment of cabinets.

  • Aims to improve installation efficiency and product quality by eliminating the need for manual drilling of attachment holes.

  • The feature is particularly beneficial for right-handed installers, as the screw holes are positioned on the left side.

Assumptions

  • The new feature will only be applied to cabinets that will be attached to one another.

  • The existing library has a similar feature (referred to as "connecting holes") but lacks countersinking and may not provide the same quality.

  • The implementation will consider user experience for right-handed installers.

Testing Strategy

  • Verify that the countersunk screw holes are correctly positioned and drilled in the cabinet design.

  • Test the ease of use for right-handed installers during the cabinet assembly process.

  • Ensure that the new feature integrates seamlessly with the existing library and does not conflict with other functionalities.
