Hello, Microvellum Community!
As part of our ongoing efforts to modernize our software and business applications, we want to inform you about the upcoming end-of-life for our legacy licensing system. Starting January 27, 2025, we will discontinue support for our legacy software license authentication, which relies on an outdated on-premises server. This transition to our new Software Licensing System (SLS) aims to enhance flexibility and mitigate security risks.
While our migration to the new software licensing system began 7 months ago and became effective with software build 23.1.1205.642, we recommend anyone who has not yet upgraded to update to the latest software build. As of today, Friday, August 2, version 24.1.0719.642 is available and recommended. For information on previous software builds or future releases, please read the release notes.
Who is impacted?
If you are running a version of Microvellum software prior to 23.1.1205.641, your software will continue to function after January 27, 2025. However, you will need to update soon to avoid activation issues, as the legacy system will be offline and unavailable for reauthorization.
