Is anyone printing labels in the shop for items that are getting worked?

I want to print labels for subassembly parts that travel throughout the shop, getting built and ultimately ending up at assemble. A few examples would be printing drawer box labels that get used after drawers are built, 5pc doors after they are built (we typically remove the panel label to run them through our wide belt so a lot of hand writing), doubled up panels and floating shelves, face frames, etc.

I know that you can do this with some software like production coach but we do not have the means to implement this software yet.
