Previous Software Development Cycle Review:
June 22 – August 2, 2021
Our primary software development focus for the past six weeks has centered on improvements related to our Include Routes in Border (IRIB) algorithm and integration of those improvements with our Solid Model Analyzer (SMA) tools. As a result, we were able to deliver the 21.1.0714 All-access build that provides significant enhancements – improving accuracy for parts analyzed using SMA, faster processing, and better nest optimization patterns. Current Software Development Cycle
August 3 – September 14, 2021
Throughout the next six weeks, our development team will be focused on a wide variety of defect resolutions, feature modifications, and user-requested enhancements. Here are the items that are currently in progress:
- Support Related/User Feedback Items
- Four issues related to subassemblies
- Five issues related to the Single Part Editor
- Company Setup user interface modifications
- Working to resolve an issue causing PTX cuts not to match up with the optimized report/saw pattern preview
- Eight issues related to the event log, including new features to help reduce the size of the error log.
- Working to resolve an issue with the output for horizontal drilling for Biesse Elix machines.
- Five issues related to our DXF writer
- Five issues related to our Product Viewer
- Six issues related to our Report Groups feature
- We are working to resolve an issue causing the drawing size to increase after redrawing products.
- Eighteen issues related to Database Management
- Three issues related to Machine Tokens
- Four issues related to g-code generation and file naming
- A few issues and additional improvements related to the Include Routes in Border (IRIB) algorithm and usage within SMA.
- As well as a dozen or more other improvements related to various areas of our platform.
- Replace Product Feature
- Investigation and development to resolve issues users of the Foundation Library are having with this feature.
- Biesse Winstore Integration
- Adapting our CIX post processor to work with Winstore functionality; Updating our Scrap Management features to work with Winstore; Options to change the file format.
- Horizontal Drilling / Face 6 Operations
- Development to allow horizontal drilling operations to be included in face 6 g-code programs when there is no face 5 machining on the part.
- Removal of unsupported software modules from view within the Help/About user interface.
Important Note: While development and testing for the above items are in progress, we cannot guarantee or commit to releasing the above improvements, modifications, or enhancements within this development cycle. But we will certainly do our best.
We plan to deliver several software releases within this cycle, supporting our goals for continuous software development and deployment. Our next release is planned for Wednesday, August 11, 2021. *Date subject to change pending quality assurance testing results.
