Q1 2026 Microvellum Roadmap

Here’s a quick summary of the items that made this quarter’s roadmap. These are the items we’re committing to, but not the only things we’ll be working on.

  • Spreadsheet Gear Upgrade
    • An upgrade to the component that handles all our spreadsheets and Excel-based functionality
  • Integration of AI-Assisted Formula Editor
    • Integrate AI-powered tools to help users create, edit, and troubleshoot formulas more easily.
  • Feature Usage Tracking
    • To provide clearer insights into feature adoption and usage
  • Microvellum BSB 2026 Release
    • Redesigned Product Details Area
    • Stackable tabs when Prompt tabs exceed the UI width
    • Easier to read product comments and help text
    • Consistent image location
    • Wider column widths to support longer text
    • Edit and redraw without closing Prompts
  • Applying Render Materials to Database Materials
    • Create a new UI that allows users to assign render materials to all materials in the database. All faces… top, bottom, core, and all edges.
  • Printable Annotations in Composite Nest Drawings (Feature Request - Printable Comments)
  • Dark Mode for Common UIs (Feature Request: Dark Mode)
    • Microvellum Palette

  • Work Order Notes (User Submitted Idea: Feature Request - Work Order Notes)
    • Add an easily accessible notes field to the Work Orders UI so batches can be easily identified without opening them.

  • Deliver the New Advanced Formula Material Wizard
    • Currently in Beta, but soon to be released
  • New CAD Render Materials
    • Clean up and add new render materials/textures
  • Product Library Guidelines & Documentation
  • Create the Framework Development for Microvellum Spreadsheet Library Use in DESIGN
  • Library Refinements for the New 2D Elevations & 3D Drawings Drawing Style
  • 2D Drawing Improvements
    • Enhance the 2D drawing templates and drawing instructions to add more options and flexibility, informed by user feedback and focus group input to ensure changes align with common drawing needs.
  • DTC Magic Pro & Magic Star Ultra
  • Develop a "Rules-based" Parametric Advanced Die Wall Product
  • Develop a Rules-based Parametric Extruded Banquette Seating Product
